In Origin's logfile (~/.cxoffice//drive_c/users/Public/Application Data/Origin/Logs/Client_Log.txt) there's some information. It is downloading with a speed of around 10-20 KB/s so it will take quite a while to finish, and the reason for this slow speed (and for the high amount of retries required for the download to begin) seems to be the server rejecting the connection request.
After around 50 times of "Unexpected error" "196620:206" when trying to download my games from within Origin, it finally started to download "Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge" (it's free right now ?).
